Executive Summary

Overall Status

Sprint status is excellent. The Product team prioritized the following themes and tasks for Sprint 129 comprising 34 points. These themes included

  • Continue new feature development for Admin GUI with Logout, templates and framework design 
  • Continue new feature development Direct  enhancements to include Direct config service integration.
  • Healtheway Product certification test cases review.
  • Community support (VA 4.2.1, OHT)

The team pulled in a couple of tickets this sprint i.e., CONN-1106, which was How-To documentation UDDI retrieval limit workaround using Internal Connection info file and CONN-1114, which was a code contribution by a community member and then reviewed and merged by the CONNECT team.

The team completed 35 points this sprint. One ticket(2 point) was not completed and will be moved over to the next sprint .

Sprint Themes and related tickets for Sprint 131:

  • Community Implementation support
    • Responded to forum posts - http://www.connectopensource.org/developer-resources/forums
    • Support VA with 4.2.1 upgrade
      • Troubleshooting call with VA discussing connection issues with some of the trading partners. Related to UDDI query limit
    • Supported the FHA/ Healtheway and Managing board meetings to supply both Healtheway and the Federal Partners supporting information needed to continue discussions on the proper path for CONNECT product certification. (CONN-1070).The Product team was tasked with reviewing the published product certification test cases (CONN-916) and then pursuing additional technical discussions with Healtheway.
  • Next Release (4.4)
    • New Features for next release
      • Direct enhancements 
        • As a CONNECT developer I want to create direct configuration services which fit into the CONNECT technology stack. (CONN-998)
        • Investigate the use of direct RI's message monitor logic backed by event logging data (CONN-1005)
          • CONN-1005 resolution details includes the findings, it was determined that the event logging database can be used for this purpose.
          • Design approach will be updated next sprint for how this will be accomplished.
        • Re-factored and exposed Direct Receiver Implementation as Web service similar to Direct Sender (CONN-1062, CONN-1009)
      • Administrative GUI enhancements 
        • As a CONNECT user I want the Admin GUI to display which remote HCID's the local gateway is communicating with so that I can analyze message traffic.(CONN-1065)
          • Admin GUI created that displays the remote gateways and total transactions by gateway.
          • Created query/service for event logging database query (CONN-1025)
          • Login page to Admin GUI complete(CONN-1072)
        • As a CONNECT user I want to create a user to provide access to Admin GUI functionality(CONN-1073, CONN-1075)
          • Create user page available in Admin GUI
          • Created a managed bean and service integration(CONN-1076)
        • Created profile for the Admin GUI in the Connect build so that it is built from the top level and also included in the ear(CONN-1074) – Moved to next sprint as the merge was not complete
          • Tested with GlassFish and WebSphere

  • Bug fixes and other improvements this sprint
      • Nightly CI Build failing (CONN-1060)
      • CONNECT is limiting the number of results being returned in the UDDI query to 100(CONN-1079)
        • Issue was fixed in 4.2.1 (CONN-1081), 4.3 (CONN-1083) and current codebase (CONN-1080). See tickets for updated EAR
