Core X12 Document Submission (X12DS)

The CORE X12 Document Submission service provides a mechanism to exchange ASC X12 Administrative Transactions between one or more organizations via the Internet using the Phase II CAQH CORE Connectivity Rule web services over SOAP envelope. This service uses a different payload (ASC X12 payloads) and model of exchange compared to IHE XDR payload based Document Submission transaction. The sender decides to whom the data should go and the receiver receives data on an appropriate available endpoint from the sources it authorizes. This service implements both a synchronous (aka Real Time) and a Deferred (aka Generic Batch mode) to support the use cases.
