Executive Summary
Overall Status
Sprint status was excellent. The Product Team has prioritized the following themes and tasks for Sprint 144 comprising 42 points. These themes included -
- Release 4.4 Preparation (Release date Dec 8 2014)
- Development (Any testing defects, logging issues, WAS issue)
- Test Prep (Interop setup, script updates)
- Testing (Further end to end testing of Admin GUI & X12, NIST, EHEX)
- Documentation (Continue with Release 4.4 required documentation tickets)
- Close completed Release 4.4 User Stories (Direct, Admin GUI, Direct)
- Create Release Candidate 1 Binaries
- Prep for Nov. 13th Partner Release 4.4 Demonstration
- Support for the Federal Agencies Implementations (VA, CMS, DoD, SSA)
- Support any CMS X12 Testing Activitie
The team completed 43 points this sprint. Release Candidate tag RC1 was created and the team began with installation tests as well as set up the environments for interoperability testing. Direct test cases using the NIST testing tool were executed successfully validating the CONNECT's implementation leveraging the Direct RI. The team continued to work on release documentation and completed the test plan while making progress on the Release notes and other installation wiki pages.The team completed installation testing and executed validation suite successfully on all the 4 application servers. A few issues related to Admin GUI were discovered which will move to the next sprint and release testing will continue next sprint.The team supported partners like the VA by following up with Healtheway on certification related errors.

Partner and Community support
- Forum discussions
- VA 4.2.2.2 implementation
- Supported VA with two issues discovered during HealtheWay testing of 4.2.2.2 for the 2011 specifications.
- Analyzed the first issue - Set "mustUnderstand" attribute on the WS-Addressing Action element in the SOAP response message, and followed up with HealtheWay and VA.
- CONN-1506 created and is in the Post 4.4 backlog for review
- The other issue was related to the SemanticsText implementation in PD, that has been fixed in Release 4.4(CONN-1310)
- Analyzed the first issue - Set "mustUnderstand" attribute on the WS-Addressing Action element in the SOAP response message, and followed up with HealtheWay and VA.
- Supported VA with two issues discovered during HealtheWay testing of 4.2.2.2 for the 2011 specifications.
- SSA 4.3.2 implementation
- As part of executing NIST test cases for Exchange based/SOAP services there was an error reported related to the PurposeOfUse and Role implementation in CONNECT.
- CONNECT's implementation was fixed in CONN-1273 (in coordination with SSA)
- This issue is documented in CONN-1532 and more follow-up with the concerned parties(SSA, NIST teams and spec factory) is needed.
- DoD
- Coordinated with DoD team on the 4.4 security scan/findings(CONN-1458)
- Provided internal security scan results and justifications to the DoD team. Followed up with them to check in on their status and timeline for reviewing this material. New ticket created next sprint to review their responses.
- CMS
- Had a review meeting with CMS. No issues found with the X12 DS implementation in CONNECT this far.
- CMS team is making good progress with adapter and backend testing.
- CONN-1428 is the issue related to Real Time Synchronous response for X12 DS and the mustUnderstand attribute in the synchronous response. Ticket is in the post 4.4 backlog for review.
- Had a review meeting with CMS. No issues found with the X12 DS implementation in CONNECT this far.

Admin GUI
- Fixed minor issues in Admin GUI which will be QA'd next sprint
- Successfully executed Admin GUI test cases on JBoss, WebSphere and GlassFish(CONN-1404, CONN-1405, CONN-1464)
Direct
- Validate that CONNECT leveraged the message wrapping capability from the Direct RI (CONN-741)
- CONNECT wraps the Direct message in an outbound message and is able to properly handle the incoming wrapped Direct message
- Successfully executed Direct test cases on WebLogic and WebSphere (CONN-1192, CONN-1193)
Release Prep, Testing and documentation
- Updated and reviewed the Release Test Plan for CONNECT 4.4 (CONN-1240)

- Successfully tested large payload transmissions for DS, DR, X12 BATCH(REQUEST & RESPONSE) using WebLogic and WebSphere (CONN-1453)

- Discovered new issue CONN-1524 that will be addressed next sprint
- Executed NIST test cases for XDR/DS(CONN-654)
- An issue was discovered related to the PurposeOfUse and Role implementation in 4.3.2(CONN-1273).
- Opened CONN-1532 for further discussion with SSA and NIST
- Successfully completed DIrect send/receive tests using the NIST Transport Testing Tool located at http://transport-testing.nist.gov/ttt/ (CONN-933)

- Setup Interop test environment on Red Hat Linux with Weblogic 12.1.1/CONNECT 4.4(CONN-1452)
- Uploaded Common Types and Connect Web Services binaries to maven repo (CONN-1421)
- Successfully executed X12 Document Submission test cases on WebSphere and WebLogic (CONN-1410, CONN-1413)
- Validation and regression suite successfully passed on RC1
- Generated RC1 tag and started installation testing on the release candidate (CONN-1451)
- Installation testing of 4.4 RC1 tag successfully executed on the environments below. Validation suite and tests pass. Installation testing will be completed next sprint.
