Overall Status

Sprint status is excellent. The Product team prioritized the following themes and tasks for Sprint 129 131 comprising 32 34 points. These themes included - 

  • Continue new feature development for Admin GUI with Logout, templates and framework design 
  • Continue new feature development for Direct  enhancements to include Direct config service integration.
  • Healtheway Product certification test cases review.

The team pulled in a couple of tickets this sprint for 3 points -  1) CONN-1106 -  Documenting UDDI retrieval limit workaround using Internal Connection info file and 2) CONN-1114 related to a PD adapter bug which was a code contribution by a community member, reviewed and merged by the CONNECT team.

The team completed 35 points this sprint. One ticket(1 point2 points) was not completed and will be moved over to the next sprint related to HIEM use case for VA . The team was not able to meet with VA to discuss this further, but documented the team's understanding and questions for further discussion with VA. Another ticket CONN-1074 was not completed and will slide over to the next sprint.

  • Community Implementation support
    • Responded to forum posts - http://www.connectopensource.org/developer-resources/forums
    • Support VA with 4.2.1 upgrade (CONN-952)Supported the FHA/ Healtheway and Managing board meetings to supply both Healtheway and the Federal Partners supporting information needed to continue discussions on the proper path for CONNECT product certification. (CONN-1070).The Product team was tasked with reviewing the published
      • Had a troubleshooting call with VA team to discuss connection issues with some of their trading partners in their test environment. This was due to the UDDI query limit known issue in CONNECT.
      • CONNECT team provided VA with a wiki page providing additional guidance on how internal connection info file could be used (see link - /wiki/spaces/CONNECTWIKI/pages/15466736) to add in the connection entries as a workaround, until 4.2.2 patch is installed. 
      • 4.2.2 patch includes the UDDI query limit resolution fix - /wiki/spaces/CONNECT4/pages/10584084
    • The Product team reviewed the published provisional product certification test cases (CONN-916) and then pursuing additional technical discussions with Healtheway

      • The team has not yet begun testing with these test cases since these have not been activated in the DIL. The team will continue to follow-up with Healtheway on the test cases activation/availability.
    • CONNECT is limiting the number of results being returned in the UDDI query to 100(CONN-1079)Issue was fixed in 4.2.1 (CONN-1081), 4.3 (CONN-1083) and current codebase (CONN-1080). See tickets for updated EAR

        • As a CONNECT developer I want to create direct configuration services which fit into the CONNECT technology stack. (CONN-998)
        • Investigate the use of direct RI's message monitor logic backed by event logging data (CONN-1005)
          • CONN-1005 resolution details includes the findings, it was determined that the event logging database can be used for this purpose.
          • Design approach will be updated next sprint for how this will be accomplished.
        • Re-factored and exposed Direct Receiver Implementation as Web service similar to Direct Sender (CONN-1062, CONN-1009Fix Trust Bundle Service/ DAO and cleanup (CONN-1068, CONN-1092)

            •  For JBoss 7, deploy both the CONNECTAdminGUI WAR and the CONNECT-JB7 EAR. Due to varying bugs in multiple versions of JBoss 7, we were ultimately unable to bundle a JSF implementation within the CONNECT-JB7 EAR. As a workaround, the CONNECTAdminGUI WAR can be deployed separately, outside of the EAR.
